Banana Plant -Abstractions of a common plant

 

This small project  is an extension of previous project, “Stow Lake.” While I was working on the Stow Lake project, I photographed many images of banana plant. I later realized I had enough images to put together a collection showing varied details of this plant. These images are not the story of a banana plant. It is about the interesting details and dimensions of the banana plant that very few people notice or look for. I capture these on film and now share my observations with others through this book.
